Position: Casual Carer

About Us:


Help in Place Support Services (HIPS) is a leading provider of disability support services, dedicated to empowering NDIS participants to achieve their best possible lives. We are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care tailored to individual needs.


Role Overview:


We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Casual Carers to join our team and provide exceptional support to NDIS participants. As a Casual Carer, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and support in participants' homes and community settings.


Key Responsibilities:


    Assist participants with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support.

    Provide emotional and social support to enhance participants' quality of life.

    Work closely with participants to help them achieve their individual goals and maintain their independence.

    Follow care plans and ensure services are delivered according to HIPS’s standards and NDIS guidelines.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report any changes in participants' conditions.

    Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment for participants and staff.


About You:


    A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and improving their quality of life.

    Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with participants and their families.

    Prior experience in a care or support role is preferred, but not essential.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care.

    Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.

    Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

    A valid Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

    Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
